Image Caption: Indian fish wheel in the Yukon River at an Indian village east of Eagle. Driven by the current of the river, this device catches salmon swimming upstream to their spawning ground. Most of the fish are dried for winter feed for the sled dogs. Note the timber on the far shore, which is near the Canadian boundary.
