Image Caption: Winter meat storage house of an old sourdough at Fort Yukon. This community is 8 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Summer temperatures often run into the high 80's. The warm temperature and long hours of sunshine combine to grow large and spectacularly colorful flowers.
