Image Caption: Part of a larger picture showing an HK bark mark on the 4th log from the bottom of the picture. Most likely the log hoist for the Northwestern Railroad on the SW corner of Little Star Lake, Manitowoc Waters, Wi. HK mark was registered in the 6th Lumber District [of Wisconsin] to the Chippewa Lumber & Boom Company, 10-2-1902.
