[Photo from the Society of American Foresters Collection: one of a group of early American forestry school images collected in 1923 by Col. Henry S. Graves, then Dean of the Yale School of Forestry, intended for mounting in an album to be placed in the new library building at Yale. 14 Penn State photos (image ID # FHS3305-FHS3318) were submitted by Professor John A. Ferguson in January of 1924. Ferguson wrote in associated correspondence to Graves, "we are proud of [the building] because it is made of wood."]
