Image Caption: This Douglas fir log bucker mounts a fallen tree in a bad spot to cut it into log lengths. Note that the bucking saw is wider in blade and shorter, and has a pattern of teeth and rakers different from that of the felling saw. A can of "Snoose," a favorite form of tobacco used by loggers, causes the bulge in the man's left hip pocket.
