Image Caption: Caption
1: Result of an ax incision which was cut too deep. The tree is weakened so that
high winds will cause the face to split. Often a deep ax cut will cause the tree
to be broken off at that point.
Caption 2: Damaged faces due to driving apron too far into tree -- wasteful practice.
