Historical Note
The National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD) is an organization dedicated to the preservation of state parks in the United States. In 1962, NASPD officially met for the first time at Illinois Beach State Park, Illinois. In subsequent years, the organization convened at various locations across the United States.
