Image Title:  [Men watching the unloading of logs from a truck parked on railroad tracks.]
Image Caption:  [Several men, possibly Yale Forestry School students, observe a man wearing overalls who is using a stick as a lever to pry large logs off the bed of a truck parked on railroad tracks in a forest. Numerous logs lay on the ground to either side of the tracks' rails, and pine trees line the sides of the railroad in the background. Likely a Urania Lumber Company operation in the state of Louisiana.]

[This image is from the Urania Lumber Company Collection, consisting of 66 black-and-white photographs and negatives, 1938-1939, of the Urania Lumber Company at Urania, Louisiana, the Southern Experiment Station at Urania, and the visit of the Yale School of Forestry to Urania. Images include scenes of the Yale students and of the facilities at Urania. Urania Lumber Company, in its cooperative research program with the Southern Experiment Station and the Forestry School, was a pioneer in the study of reforestation.]
